总经理

一般 经理

The 总经理 is responsible for leading Metropolitan’s daily and long-term operations, including implementing the policies of the board of directors and working with other department heads and member agencies to carry out Metropolitan's mission to provide water reliability to Southern California. 

The 总经理 reports directly to the board and leads and manages the district's public policies and strategic initiatives, 资产和资源, 以及所有的行政管理, operational and financial activities for Metropolitan. 

从 the district’s beginnings, the 总经理’s leadership has been critical in helping Metropolitan balance the diverse needs of our member agencies to carry out the board’s vision for a regionwide approach to water issues, including keeping water rates affordable. As Metropolitan’s chief executive officer and spokesperson, the 总经理 works to establish strong relationships with government, business and the community at large.

The role has taken on new challenges relating to an expanding array of water sources, increasingly stringent regulatory standards, 老化的基础设施, 气候变化, environmental protection and creating a more inclusive workplace.

The 总经理 is supported by four assistant general managers: the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief 金融 Officer and Chief 对外事务 Officer. 报告ing to these senior managers are seven 管理 groups that administer the district's business affairs.
